Walt Disney World has revealed more details of its 2026 Christmas celebrations, with festive events, attraction overlays, food, decorations and entertainment returning across the Florida resort.

Disney says its main holiday season will run from November 13, 2026 through January 6, 2027, although some separately ticketed events begin slightly earlier. Guests can expect Christmas celebrations at all four theme parks, Disney Springs and the resort hotels.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party returns to Magic Kingdom

One of Disney World’s biggest Christmas traditions is back for 2026.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party takes place on selected nights from November 8 through December 22, transforming Magic Kingdom with festive entertainment, Christmas characters, holiday treats and seasonal versions of selected attractions.

The party includes Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration and the Frozen Holiday Surprise at Cinderella Castle.

It is a separately ticketed event, running from 7pm until midnight, although ticket holders can enter Magic Kingdom from 4pm. Tickets for 2026 range from $189 to $229, depending on the date.

Disney Jollywood Nights gets even bigger

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney Jollywood Nights returns with its mix of Christmas celebrations and old-Hollywood glamour.

For the first time, the event will continue into January, running on selected nights from November 7, 2026 through January 5, 2027.

Disney has confirmed returning entertainment including Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!, characters, seasonal food and drinks and festive shows, while the park itself will be covered in retro Christmas decorations.

Guests can enter from 5:30pm, with the event officially running from 7:30pm until 12:30am. Disney also says the limited-capacity event should mean lower wait times for selected attractions.

EPCOT celebrates Christmas traditions from around the world

The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays will run from November 27 through December 30, 2026.

The festival celebrates Christmas and other seasonal traditions from around the world with Holiday Kitchens, entertainment and storytellers throughout World Showcase.

One of its biggest attractions is the Candlelight Processional, which combines a huge choir, a 51-piece orchestra and a celebrity narrator for a retelling of the Christmas story.

The 2026 narrator line-up includes some particularly big names, including:

Gary Sinise, Whoopi Goldberg, Jason Kelce, Neil Patrick Harris, Josh Groban, Henry Winkler, Lacey Chabert, Jodi Benson, Simu Liu and Eva Longoria.

Disney says additional narrators are still to be announced.

Guardians of the Galaxy gets three Christmas songs

There’s also a new festive twist coming to one of EPCOT’s biggest rides.

From November 25 through January 6, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind will feature a special holiday track list containing three Christmas songs.

The ride normally randomly selects music for each experience, but Disney is giving guests the chance to save the galaxy with a much more festive soundtrack for a limited time.

Christmas takes over Disney World

Away from the headline events, Disney World will once again be filled with giant Christmas trees, festive character costumes, seasonal food and drinks, limited-edition merchandise and elaborate decorations.

Disney Resort hotels will also receive their traditional Christmas makeovers, including towering trees and festive displays, while Disney Springs will offer Christmas shopping, food and entertainment throughout the season.

With several major events, new attraction overlays and some huge names appearing at EPCOT, Christmas 2026 is shaping up to be one of Walt Disney World’s biggest festive seasons yet.
