Disney Jr. unveiled the trailer on November 3, offering a first glimpse of the Christmas chaos awaiting Mickey and Pluto.
A Christmas Adventure Inspired by Home Alone
In Mickey’s Home Alone, Mickey is looking forward to a quiet Christmas at home. However, his plans are turned upside down when Minnie surprises everyone with tickets to spend Christmas at a world-famous Ice Palace.
As the gang rushes to leave, Mickey and Pluto are accidentally forgotten, leaving the pair to celebrate Christmas alone.
But their peaceful holiday doesn't last long.
A mischievous raccoon and weasel have their sights set on Mickey's Christmas dinner, forcing Mickey and Pluto to defend their home from the hungry intruders.
Meanwhile, Minnie and the others desperately attempt to return home, setting the stage for plenty of festive chaos.
The special brings a familiar Home Alone-style premise to Mickey's world, complete with traps, unexpected villains and Christmas comedy.
New Christmas Songs
The animated special will feature two original Christmas songs, Ho-Ho-Home for Christmas and Favorite Christmas Feeling, written by Keith Harrison Dworkin.
A new arrangement of Jingle Bells will also feature, with an accompanying soundtrack EP scheduled for release on November 6.
When Does Mickey’s Home Alone Release?
Mickey’s Home Alone premieres on Disney Jr. on Thursday, November 26, 2026, at 6 p.m. ET/PT, before arriving on Disney+ on Friday, November 27.
It will also air on Disney Channel on November 30 and as part of Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas programming on December 19.
With its familiar festive premise and beloved Disney characters, Mickey’s Home Alone looks set to bring a playful new take on a Christmas movie favourite to families this holiday season.
