What's Merry Christmas Aubrey Flint About?
John Bradley stars as Aubrey Flint, a reclusive man who absolutely despises Christmas.
After an unfortunate incident lands him with a community service sentence, Aubrey finds himself working at Willow Lodge, a struggling retirement home facing closure.
Before long, he's reluctantly dragged into helping the residents stage a chaotic production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol in a desperate attempt to save their home.
But as rehearsals descend into mayhem and unexpected friendships begin to form, Aubrey might just discover that Christmas isn't quite as terrible as he thought.
Blending British humour with a heartfelt story about friendship, loss and second chances, the film promises plenty of festive laughs alongside some emotional moments.
A Brilliant British Cast
Alongside John Bradley, best known for playing Samwell Tarly in Game of Thrones, the film features an impressive ensemble including Celia Imrie, Richard E. Grant, Adjoa Andoh, Sophia Di Martino, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Jim Broadbent and Karl Pilkington.
Directed by Jack Spring and written by Chris Boyle-McQuarry, the film offers a distinctly British take on the classic Christmas redemption story.
