If you’ve ever wished you could spend Christmas in Stars Hollow, this might be about as close as it gets.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood has announced Gilmore Girls Holidays, a huge new festive experience transforming the real Warner Bros. backlot into the world of Gilmore Girls for Christmas 2026.

Running from December 12, 2026 until January 3, 2027, the event will turn the iconic filming locations used for Stars Hollow into a festive Christmas celebration filled with decorations, food, shopping and experiences inspired by the much-loved TV series.

And Warner Bros. is describing it as its largest Gilmore Girls fan celebration ever.

Christmas in Stars Hollow

The Warner Bros. backlot will be dressed for the holidays, giving visitors the chance to wander through locations that will instantly be familiar to Gilmore Girls fans.

Among the places guests will be able to explore are Luke’s Diner, Luke’s apartment, Taylor’s Old Fashioned Soda Shoppe, the Gilmore Estate and the Chilton School Graduation Courtyard.

There will also be a recreation of Rory’s Basket Auction, along with a nightly Christmas tree lighting in Stars Hollow.

For anyone who rewatches Gilmore Girls as soon as the weather turns colder, it sounds rather magical.

Luke is coming too!

Scott Patterson, who played Luke Danes throughout the series, will also be appearing as part of the celebrations.

Fans will be able to book special photo opportunities with Scott Patterson, while he will also host live podcast events during the experience.

It probably doesn’t get much more Stars Hollow than walking into Luke’s Diner at Christmas and finding Luke himself nearby.

Christmas food, coffee and plenty of Gilmore Girls treats

Food is naturally going to be a big part of the experience too.

Visitors will be able to try a special range of Gilmore Girls-inspired food and drinks, including Luke’s Cold Brew, Caesar’s Chilaquiles Nachos, Gazebo Pretzels, Jojo’s Burgers and treats from Westons Bakery.

There will even be a coffee tasting bar — because a Gilmore Girls event without an excessive amount of coffee simply wouldn’t feel right.

Several additional dining experiences can also be booked in advance, including a Friday Night Dinner at the Dragonfly Inn, a Dragonfly Inn Tea Experience and an Emily Gilmore Tea Experience.

Exclusive Christmas merchandise

Of course, there will also be plenty of shopping.

Warner Bros. has promised new exclusive Gilmore Girls merchandise and collectibles, including recreated costume pieces, special 2026 collector items and a Christmas Gallery featuring Department 56.

Fans will also be able to shop at Luke’s Emporium and an expanded Chilton Store.

When is Gilmore Girls Holidays?

Gilmore Girls Holidays runs from December 12, 2026 through January 3, 2027 at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood in Burbank, California.

The experience will be open from 10am until 8pm and will be closed on Christmas Day.

Tickets start at $79 for adults and $68 for children aged 5–10.

There is also a combined Warner Bros. Studio Tour and Gilmore Girls Holidays ticket, starting at $124 for adults and $113 for children aged 5–10.

Would you spend Christmas in Stars Hollow?

Between the Christmas lights, Luke’s Diner, endless coffee and a proper Stars Hollow Christmas tree lighting, this may be one of the cosiest Christmas experiences announced for 2026.

And considering just how many people return to Gilmore Girls every autumn and Christmas, we have a feeling tickets for this one could be rather popular.
