Christmas is set to get even more magical in Glasgow this year

Christmas lovers have something exciting to look forward to this festive season, as a brand-new immersive Christmas attraction is set to open at Glasgow's iconic Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
The experience is being created by itison, the team behind the hugely popular GlasGLOW Halloween event. Rather than bringing back the former Elfingrove attraction, which ended in 2023, organisers are promising a completely fresh festive experience designed to become one of Scotland's biggest Christmas events.
What Do We Know So Far?
While many of the details are still being kept secret, organisers have confirmed the attraction will run on selected evenings from late November until Christmas.
The event's name, theme, ticket prices and opening dates have yet to be announced, but the team says they've taken inspiration from some of the world's most successful festive attractions to create something truly special for Glasgow.
Creating More Than 100 Jobs
The new attraction is expected to create more than 100 seasonal jobs, with opportunities across production, hospitality, guest experience and event operations.
As well as bringing festive entertainment to visitors, the project is expected to provide a welcome boost to Glasgow's city centre during the busy Christmas period.
A New Festive Tradition
According to itison founder Oli Norman, the aim is to create a premium Christmas experience that families will want to return to year after year.
The development team has spent several years visiting Christmas attractions around the world, gathering ideas and inspiration before creating this brand-new event especially for Glasgow.

The full announcement is expected later this summer, when organisers will reveal the attraction's official name, theme, opening dates, ticket information and what visitors can expect to experience.
For now, Christmas fans will have to wait a little longer, but anticipation is already building. If it lives up to expectations, this new attraction could become one of the UK's must-visit festive destinations and a new Christmas tradition for families across Scotland and beyond.
